Banana Bread with Applesauce Grandma Muriel always used to make this delicious banana bread whenever she knew we were visiting at the weekend. Light and delicious, we would sit around the fire with a larger than necessary slice and a cup of proper tea made in a warmed pot. Easy Roast Duck Recipe Ingredients 2 teaspoons salt 1 (5 pound approx) whole duck 1/2 cup melted butter 2 teaspoons paprika (smoked paprika can also be used) 1 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 teaspoon medium chilli powder How to make our Easy Roast Duck Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Rub salt, pepper,chilli powder and paprika into the skin of the duck. Place in a roasting pan. Roast duck in preheated oven for 1 hour. Spoon 1/4 cup melted butter over duck, and cook for a further 45 more minutes. Spoon or ladle the remaining 1/4 cup melted butter over duck, and cook for a final 15 minutes, or until crisp and golden brown.
