I love to barbecue all year round, weather permitting, and have found that some of the simplest barbecue recipes I have tried over the years have easily become my favourites. This easy home cooking barbecue recipe for sticky chicken drummers is no exception. Great care should be taken when barbecuing . Food safety should be in the forefront of your mind. Follow this easy barbecue recipe and try changing the ingredients slightly to be a bit more adventurous when the mood takes you. Ingredients 12 juicy free range chicken drumsticks. We are urging the public to stop washing raw chicken - Food Standards Agency We have issued a call for people to stop washing raw chicken to reduce the risk of contracting campylobacter, a potentially dangerous form of food poisoning. The call comes as new figures show that 44% of people always wash chicken before cooking it – a practice that can spread campylobacter bacteria onto hands, work surfaces, clothing and cooking equipment through the splashing of water droplets. Campylobacter is the most common form of food poisoning in the UK, affecting an estimated 280,000 people a year. Around four in five of these cases come from contaminated poultry. The resulting illness can cause abdominal pain, severe diarrhoea and vomiting. In certain cases, it can lead to irritable bowel syndrome, reactive arthritis and Guillain-Barré syndrome, a serious condition of ...

Welsh Rarebit With Tomato's Welsh rarebit is basically posh cheese on toast or grilled cheese as some may say. The name welsh rarebit or sometimes welsh rabbit, was first used for this dish as far back as the 18th century in Great Britain. Welsh rarebit consists of a savoury sauce made from cheese that is gently melted, and other ingredients that are added according to individual taste and family tradition. The sauce is thickly spread onto warm toast and grilled until bubbling and golden. The basic welsh rarebit recipe is very easy to make and can be enjoyed as a family supper or a summer lunch topped with roasted vine tomato's and a fresh salad garnish.
